FDNY Responds to 5-Alarm Fire in Queens, Multiple Injuries Reported

The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) responded to a fire at 88-21 Francis Lewis Boulevard in Queens on Saturday at 4 p.m. The fire spread quickly, affecting five buildings and minor extension to two others. It also reached some cars and garages in the area.
A total of 44 units and over 200 fire and EMS personnel were involved in putting out the 5-alarm fire. There were minor injuries reported, with 11 firefighters and three civilians affected. FDNY Fire Marshals will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
