On August 26, a 4-alarm fire engulfed several homes on Dean Street in Brooklyn. The fire was caused by a single lithium-ion battery, which led to extensive damage. Authorities urge the public to charge electronic devices outside of their homes due to the potential hazards posed by these batteries.
