**Celebration of Mexican Independence Day Scheduled in Buckeye**
Buckeye, AZ - The city will host a vibrant celebration for the 214th anniversary of Mexico's Independence Day on Friday, September 13, 2024. The event, titled "El Grito, in the West," will take place at the 6th Street Plaza, located at the intersection of 6th Street and Monroe Avenue.
The festivities will begin at 5:00 PM and will run until 9:30 PM. A key highlight of the celebration will be the Official Ceremony of the Grito de Independencia, which is scheduled for 8:30 PM.
Attendees can look forward to live music, performances, and a variety of authentic Mexican food. The event aims to provide a family-friendly atmosphere to showcase the rich culture and heritage of Mexico.
All community members are encouraged to join the festivities.
