Firefighter Reunites with Former Open House Attendee

Staff Report / sarasotalocal.org

Sarasota County, FL - A heartwarming connection has bloss within the Sarasota County Fire Department. Firefighter/EMT Thomas Ursetti recently reunited with Nate Atkins, who he met years ago at a Fire Department Open House. Atkins has now joined the ranks as a firefighter.

The Sarasota County Fire Department is inviting the community to its next Open House on Saturday, September 21. The event will take place at Fire Station 9, located at 6750 Bee Ridge Road. Attendees are encouraged to bring their children, as it could inspire them to consider a career in firefighting.
