Santa Clara Fire Team Deployed to Line Fire

On Monday, September 9, the Santa Clara Fire Department's Engine 97 was deployed to assist in fighting the Line Fire in San Bernardino County. They were part of a Type-1 engine strike team, which included units from Milpitas, Palo Alto, Mountain View, and San Jose. The crews remain assigned to the incident, which has not yet been fully contained. Meanwhile, all Santa Clara Fire Stations continue to operate with full staffing.
