**Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month: Jessica Perez at the West Side YMCA**

As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, the West Side YMCA is highlighting the contributions of Jessica Perez, an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President/Executive Director and the Director of Special Projects.

Jessica began her journey with the YMCA in 2022 at the Flushing YMCA through the New American Initiatives program. This initiative not only helped her improve her English but also provided her children with the opportunity to thrive on the swim team.

Originally from Peru, Jessica is grateful for the opportunities that the YMCA has made available to her and her family. She has now become an integral member of the West Side YMCA team, and her story is a part of the community’s diverse tapestry.

The YMCA is dedicated to celebrating the stories that connect people and the inspiring journeys within the community during this month.
