The National Weather Service (NWS) in Buffalo, NY, has issued a weather forecast for November 14, 2024. Rain is expected to begin in the far southwestern part of New York state this afternoon and will spread east into the early evening.

The chance of precipitation varies by location, with Dunkirk forecasted at 86%, Jamestown at 99%, and Olean at 75%. Other areas have lower probabilities, including Buffalo at 49%, Wellsville at 49%, and Lockport at 34%. The areas around Rochester and the Finger Lakes are expected to remain dry, with Rochester at a 10% chance and Sodus at 12%.
