**Brighton Police Issue Crash Alert and Winter Driving Reminder**

Brighton, CO – The Brighton Police Department has issued a crash alert for the City of Brighton. The notice advises that if individuals are involved in a crash with minor damage, no injuries, and no alcohol involved, they should exchange information with the other party and file a report online for their records at [Colorado DMV's accident report page](https://dmv.colorado.gov/report-accident).

For incidents involving injuries, hit-and-runs, impaired drivers, or uninsured motorists, residents are urged to contact the Brighton Police so that officers can respond appropriately.

Additionally, the Brighton Police Department has provided a reminder about driving in winter weather. Drivers are encouraged to prioritize safety by performing one driving action at a time – accelerating, turning, or braking. Attempting to do more than one of these actions simultaneously can result in accidents such as slide-outs or spin-outs, especially in icy or snowy conditions.
