The Brooklyn Public Library in New York is hosting a pilot debate series called "Bridging the Gap: Intergenerational Debate at BPL." The program aims to bring together teens and older adults to work on crafting persuasive arguments, improving public speaking skills, and conducting research. The participants will have the opportunity to build connections and learn from each other despite their generational differences. The program consists of three cycles, with a Championship Debate scheduled for March 26. Those interested can participate in the program by visiting bklynlib.org/bridging-the-gap.
