Despite her success, she revealed that playing classical cello never felt like the perfect fit for her. Coloff shared that she is part of a collaborative program with a group of fellow artists who aim to explore more personal and unique artistic expressions. The Grammy-winning album, "So She Howls," was a result of the collaboration between Coloff, the Scorchio String Quartet, the vocal group Tonality, and composer Carla Patullo.
