FDNY celebrates AAPI Heritage Month with Korean cultural event.

The FDNY hosted a celebration for Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month in New York City. The event was organized by the FDNY Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the FDNY Phoenix Society. The focus was on honoring and celebrating the contributions of AAPI firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, officers, and civilian employees who play a vital role in keeping the city safe.

The theme of this year's event revolved around Korean culture, featuring dance, and food. Deputy Commissioner Don Nguyen was specially recognized for his contributions to the Department during the celebration.
