The Apna Brooklyn Community Center in Brooklyn, New York had a senior trip to Edible Schoolyard NYC on July 16th. The Edible Schoolyard Project focuses on promoting edible education for all children in New York City by partnering with public schools for hands-on cooking and gardening education. During the trip, the seniors participated in gardening and cooking activities to learn about healthy eating and sustainable practices. Overall, it was an enriching experience that was educational and fun. The group had a fantastic time, and they extend their gratitude to Edible Schoolyard NYC for hosting them.
