Last Chance for Outdoor Swimming in NYC Beaches
Staff Report / nyclocal.org
New York City's Department of Parks & Recreation has announced that this weekend will be the last opportunity for outdoor swimming at beaches and pools in the city. Starting next week, residents can still swim indoors at the city's indoor pools by obtaining a recreation center membership at a low cost. This transition marks the end of the summer season for outdoor swimming in NYC.
