On September 7, 1984, Officer Kevin Forsythe, a 7-year veteran of the Phoenix Police Department, was tragically killed in a traffic accident while working off-duty. He was directing traffic when a semi-truck struck him, causing his death. Officer Forsythe was thirty-five years old at the time and is survived by his wife, son, and stepson. Today, we remember his sacrifice and honor his service to the community. Let us pay tribute to Officer Forsythe's dedication and bravery. #PHXPDFallenOfficersToday.
