An employee at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport assisted a couple who experienced car trouble on a busy street. The couple's vehicle broke down while they were driving southbound on 24th Street, a location known for its heavy traffic and semi-blind curve.

Melissa G., an administrative aide with the Aviation Department, came to their aid. She attempted to start the car but was unsuccessful. Melissa then called for assistance to have the vehicle removed from the road to ensure the safety of the couple.

Her actions have earned her recognition from her colleagues, who noted her genuine concern and care for the couple. She was recognized by the On the FLY team for her friendly and helpful demeanor.
