JEDI Zones Workshops Support Small Business Growth

Are you a small business owner looking for resources to improve your operations? The Economic & Workforce Development Department in Los Angeles is hosting a series of workshops designed to help you stabilize your finances and grow your business.
The first event, the Watts Small Business Series focused on Finance, Technology, and Innovation, will take place on three dates: September 20, September 25, and October 4, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. The location is the Watts Civic Center, situated at 1513 E. 103rd Street, Watts, CA 90002. Small businesses within the JEDI Zone, specifically along the Wilmington Ave Corridor from 103rd St to 114th St, have the opportunity to receive a free laptop in addition to training provided by a CSU Business professor. The second event titled "Digital Blueprint-Building Your Small Business Empire" is scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2024, and will be conducted via Zoom. This webinar aims to assist business owners in bridging the digital divide and expanding their consumer base by utilizing LAOptimized 2.0. These workshops are designed to provide small business owners with essential tools and knowledge to enhance their operations.
