LAUSD Expands Early Education Programs for Young Learners

Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is expanding its early education programs to support young learners in the community. The district is increasing income eligibility for its early education centers and preschools, which will allow more families access to these essential resources. Additionally, LAUSD is broadening its Universal Transitional Kindergarten (TK) offerings.
The district currently operates 87 early education centers, where children aged 2 to 4 are welcomed to enroll. This initiative aims to create successful learning and developmental pathways for young children, particularly in communities that need academic support.
