**Greeley Police Department Thanks Zoe’s Café for Support**

The Greeley Police Department has expressed gratitude to Zoe's Café for providing refreshments and hosting their Annual Wellness Checks for officers. Zoe’s Café supplied coffee and a venue where licensed psychologists could meet with officers to discuss mental health and overall wellness.

The wellness checks are an opportunity for officers to connect with mental health professionals as part of their benefit, and the department emphasizes the importance of such support in the challenging field of policing. The Peer Support Team (PST) and the Neighborhood Action Team (NAT) organized the event. The PST includes officers and non-sworn staff trained to recognize signs of mental health distress and assist after critical incidents.

Police work can bring about high-stress situations, making mental health support essential. The event aims to ensure officers take care of their well-being, which in turn helps them serve the community effectively.

The Greeley Police Department acknowledges community partners like Zoe’s Café for their contributions to officer support and mental health awareness.
