A Flix Tour Bus operated by Tribal Sun Bus Company from Massachusetts rolled over on I-490 westbound this morning at approximately 7:00 am. The incident occurred west of Union Street in the Town of Chili. There were 28 occupants on board, including the driver, all of whom were transported to local hospitals for evaluation and treatment. One individual is reported to be in critical condition.

The bus was traveling from New York City to Niagara Falls, having departed around midnight. Families seeking updates on their loved ones can contact the Family Liaison Office at 585-753-4455.

While the eastbound lanes of I-490 have reopened, the westbound lanes between exits 3 and 4 remain closed. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.

Monroe County Sheriff's Office extended their gratitude to the New York State Police and fire and EMS personnel from Monroe and Genesee Counties for their assistance with the investigation.
