**Brooklyn Public Library to Celebrate 20 Years of PowerUp Business Plan Competition**

The Brooklyn Public Library is marking its 20th anniversary of the PowerUp Business Plan Competition. To commemorate this milestone, Dime Community Bank has provided over $40,000 in funding to support local entrepreneurs.

On November 10, 2023, a payment of $20,000 was issued to Noel Gaskin and Jovon Browne as part of this initiative. The funds are designated for the DIME PowerUp! Business Plan Competition.

The 2024 PowerUp Business Plan Competition Awards Ceremony is scheduled for November 13 at the Central Library. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear pitches from local business owners and participate in voting for the Audience Choice award.
