The Ohio Department of Development has announced over $55 million in funding for brownfield remediation and demolition projects across the state. This announcement covers Round 7 of the funding program.

The Brownfield Remediation Program will allocate $22.7 million for 27 projects in 19 counties. Additionally, the Demolition & Site Revitalization Program is providing $33.2 million for 1,091 projects in 65 counties.

Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted emphasized the importance of this funding for enhancing community development in Ohio. Counties marked with stripes on the map indicate those receiving grants from both programs.
