**Students Return to School, Reminder to Follow Speed Limits in School Zones**
Nampa Police have issued a reminder to the community as students in Nampa return to school following the Christmas Break. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 7.
Drivers are urged to slow down in school zones and remain vigilant for children walking or biking to school. The school zone speed limit is 20 mph when lights are flashing. Authorities also emphasized the importance of avoiding distracted driving, encouraging drivers to keep their “phones down” while behind the wheel.
The police department stressed the importance of community cooperation in maintaining safety as students return to their regular routines.
