Nampa Launches Christmas Tree Recycling Initiative

**Nampa Offers Christmas Tree Recycling Program: December 26 – January 17**
Nampa Parks and Recreation is encouraging residents to recycle their live Christmas trees as part of an environmentally friendly initiative. Beginning December 26, 2024, and running through January 17, 2025, the Parks Department will accept real Christmas trees, which will be processed into mulch for use in Nampa’s parks.
Participants should ensure that their trees are free of all ornaments, tinsel, flocking agents, lights, and other decorations before dropping them off. Artificial trees are not accepted as part of this program.
