The City of North Port's independent committee will review applications for the North Port Non-Profits United (NP²) Program on September 12 at 3 p.m. The meeting will take place at room 244 in City Hall and is open to the public. The committee, made up of North Port residents with expertise in local education, mental health, and senior care, will decide which agencies will receive funding from the program. The NP² Program aims to support non-profit organizations by enhancing and expanding their missions. None of the committee members are City of North Port employees.
