LA County Streamlines Permitting for Small Businesses

Los Angeles County has launched the SmallBiz Permit Express program aimed at facilitating the permitting process for small businesses and social enterprises. This initiative is designed to support community-serving businesses by providing faster response times, priority inspections, and streamlined assistance.
Eligible small businesses and social enterprises must meet certain community service or environmental criteria to participate in the program. Applicants can determine their eligibility by completing a self-assessment and preparing necessary documents.
To apply, interested businesses can visit the EPIC-LA website at epicla.lacounty.gov and access various resources, including a list of frequently asked questions and preparation tips.
