The JaxbyJax Literary Arts Festival begins today at the Main Library located at 303 N. Laura St. in Jacksonville, FL. The festival runs from 4 PM to 7:30 PM. It features readings from local authors, including Jennifer Chase at 4:30 PM and Shamus Award-winning author Michael Wiley at 5 PM. Following the readings, there will be a Q&A session and a book signing.

At 6:30 PM, the festival will host its first-ever JaxbyJax Open Mic event, led by poet and spoken word artist Moses West. This open mic will run until 7:30 PM.

The festival continues on Saturday from 11 AM to 5:30 PM, with readings from over 20 local authors and a showcase featuring 10 student writers. Notably, New York Times bestselling author Tia Levings will give a special presentation at 4:30 PM.

Attendees are invited to arrive early on Saturday from 10 AM to noon for "Bagels and Books," a pre-event gathering hosted by Women Writing for a Change, Jacksonville, on the Conference Level.
