Library Closed for Veterans Day, November 11

The Los Angeles Public Library will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024, in observance of Veterans Day. This closure is in honor of the contributions and sacrifices made by veterans.
In a historical context, notable veterans have been recognized, including Cpl. Charles Aldrson from the Korean War, 94-year-old Jack Coopersmith, who served as a private in World War I, Vietnam veteran Sgt. Delbert Holmes, and World War II Sgt. Emmet Burke.
