Federal Impact Aid Survey Open Until December 2024

Staff Report / jaxlocal.org

The Federal Impact Aid Survey for Duval County Public Schools is now open until December 13, 2024. This annual survey provides the opportunity for schools to receive additional funding for students whose parents work at Jacksonville's Navy bases or other U.S. government agencies, including the Postal Service.

The federal funding obtained from the survey helps cover costs for teachers, staff, instructional materials, and other school expenses.

Parents are encouraged to log into the Family Portal and access FOCUS using their linked parent account to complete the survey. The school district emphasizes the importance of this survey in securing essential resources for students.

For more information and to complete the survey, visit duvalschools.org/article/1857316. The website features messages from Superintendent Dr. Christopher Bernier and NS Mayport Commanding Officer Captain Brian Binder about the significance of participating in the survey.
