A community reading event titled "SHHH! WE'RE READING!" will take place every third Sunday from January to November 2024, from 1 PM to 3 PM at The Coalition Space, located at 311 E. 7th Street.

The scheduled dates for the event are May 19, June 16, July 21, August 18, September 15, October 20, and November 17. Participants are invited to join a quiet reading session where they can read in a relaxed environment. Library staff will be present to assist those looking for book recommendations.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own books, reading devices, laptops, or phones. They should also bring a mug, as hot water and various teas will be provided. Portable comfy chairs are welcome for added comfort.

For those interested in sharing their reading experiences, there will be a time during the last half hour to discuss what is being read, or participants can continue reading in silence.

The next "SHHH! WE'RE READING!" event will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 1 PM to 3 PM.
